Shira Parower is a driven and accomplished athlete with a deep understanding of high-level performance, leadership, and resilience.
A former Division I women’s lacrosse player at Syracuse University, Shira competed as an attacker for one of the nation’s premier programs, where she honed her competitive edge and gained firsthand experience in elite athletic development environments.
Originally from Westport, Connecticut, Shira was a standout student-athlete at Staples High School. Shira contributed to NCAA tournament wins and helped bring Syracuse to 2 final four appearances. She was recognized on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll multiple times, reflecting her ability to balance the academic rigor of a top-tier university with the demands of Division I athletics.
Although injuries sidelined her during her junior and senior years, those challenges deepened her insight into the physical and mental demands of high-performance sport—fueling her passion for athlete development, injury recovery, and mental resilience.
She brings, elite-level athletic experience, a deep understanding of physical training and recovery, strong leadership and communication skills, and a passion for empowering the next generation of athletes.
